BBC Motoring Show Top Gear returns to BBC One Sunday March 14th 2021, here's what to expect from the brand new series. Aside from the outdoor studio set up seen in the last series the team have now moved away from outdoor studio filming and instead are now filming the live segments of the show in front of BBC Television Centre London.
What's a new series without an increased episode count? Yes that's right unlike the previous series of Top Gear the BBC have decided to bring back the 10 episode run meaning that instead of running for 5-6 weeks at a time this series will end the middle of May, the 16th to be precise. Top Gear is back in the big leagues now. The last time there was a 10 week run was in the days of Clarkson and Co. so this is a sight to behold.
In terms of what is to come in the new series, the synopsis for Episode 1 reads:
Freddie, Chris and Paddy head to the Lake District for an emotional reunion with their own dads' old cars. Elsewhere, Chris heads out on the track to test Lamborghini's most powerful car ever, the hybrid Sian.
