Just Recently Jeremy Clarkson released a video on Instgram about his new up coming I Bought a Farm Series that will launch exclusively for Amazon Prime Customers in 2020. It has since then been revealed that the series will have an eight week/episode run over the course of the year.
Filming for the series began in Autumn of this year and will be produced under the handle of BBC backed Company Expectation as will the next series of The Grand Tour too.
Being available only on Amazon Prime Video, it can be viewed in 200 countries and territories.
Also expected this year is Richard Hammond's BIG Series where he travels to the likes of Germany and afoot exploring engineering projects and delving into detail about the engineering economical side of things, and a show from James May where he explores Japan called Our Man In Japan. Andy Wilman, executive producer of The Grand Tour will also be starting in his own solo project which will apparently be unscripted, but no more is known about this at this time.
Amazon Studios’ director of European originals Georgia Brown said:
“Jeremy is one of Britain’s finest exports and I think I speak for the entire nation when I say I can’t wait to see what will happen when he turns his usually petrol-covered hands to life on a working farm.
“We’re excited to bring this latest UK produced Amazon Original series to Prime Video viewers around the world next year. Wishing you lots of luck Jeremy. What could possibly go wrong?”
