The New Series of Top Gear revved back on to our TV screens yesterday evening and I think it's safe to say that it is a very positive start to a show that was slowly finding its way into the trash can.
From the off set the chemistry between Chris, Paddy and Andrew (Freddie) was there despite the occasional swear word that was bleeped for censorship sake.
The Episode opened and immediately the audience was thrown into the action with a trip to Ethiopia and back down memory lane where the presenters were remenising about their first cars that they bought. Chris Harris was in the Mini Copper while Freddie and Paddy were in the Porsche Boxter and Ford Escort Mark II respectively.
Throughout the trip to Ethiopia the crew had challenges throw in along the way to make it more interesting and entertaining, because what is a car show without the entertainment. There was a number of different challenges at different points throughout the episode and to make it interesting the loosing presenter of each challenge had to wear a knitted jumper until the next challenge came to be. (in the sweltering Ethiopian heat i may add.
Overall I am very impressed with the first episode of Series 27 and hope to see this Chemistry continue throughout the series.
